May Favourites!

I can't believe it's the end of May already. Hopefully the summer weather will be here soon! Here's what I've been loving during May. This month's list is as random as usual.

 1. New Balance SuperLight/SuperFresh 895V2 Walking Shoe: I'm definitely not a sneaker kind of girl. It's been years since I last owned a pair, but I bought these New Balance 895V2 sneakers a few weeks ago in preparation for the Shape Up Challenge, and I love them! They are perfect for walking or running.

2. White Noise Lite App: Sometimes I have a lot of trouble falling asleep at night. I stumbled upon this free app in the Apple App Store and I can't believe how quickly it puts me to sleep! There are a selection of soothing sounds to choose from such as crashing waves, thunder and a ticking grandfather clock.

 3. Revlon Lip Butter in Sorbet: Lately I've been turning to this bright cool-toned pink shade, which was introduced last summer. It's definitely a great spring/summer lip colour. It goes on so smooth and has great lasting power.

4. Jasmine Green Tea: Jasmine green tea has been my drink of choice this month. I'm not very picky with my tea, so I've been enjoying this one from Tetley. I like to make a big pot and put it in the fridge so I can drink it cold on hot days. It also has tons of health benefits.

 5. Live Clean Fragrance Free Body Lotion: If you've read some of my beauty posts, you know that I'm trying to eliminate harmful ingredients like parabens from my beauty products and use natural products whenever possible. I picked this body lotion up from Target this month and I'm so glad I did. It's 98% natural, and phthalate and paraben free. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy.

Bar carts are my latest home decor obsession. It seems like they are everywhere lately, and I am seriously considering adding one to my own home. They can be super affordable ( try this one from Ikea ) or fancy ( like this one from West Elm ). Apart from the basics like liquor, glasses and a cocktail shaker, you can add all kinds of fun objects to your bar cart such as fresh flowers, candles, framed prints, books, knick knacks, really anything you can think of! April Favourites!

I can't believe it's that time again! To be honest, this list was especially difficult to compile this month. I spent April finishing up a very intensive 8 month + internship postgrad program. Between the exams, reports, projects, presentations, late nights and early mornings, I had very little time to myself to discover new products, so this list mostly includes old favourites that I found myself reaching for this month. 1. Cadbury Mini Eggs :  Mini Eggs are my favourite Easter candy and I don't even want to think of how many I consumed this month (stress eating!). At least I was balancing all that chocolate out with vegan bowls . 2. Live Clean Fresh Face Foaming Daily Cleanser : I picked up this cleanser in my never ending quest to find the best skin care products. I'm glad I did as I really love it. February Favourites!

I can't believe it's the end of the month already! Here are the products I've been loving during February. 1. Ecotools Essential Eye Set : I'm a big fan of Ecotools cruelty-free and natural makeup brushes. I recently needed some new eye brushes so I picked up this set. Don't expect Mac, Real Techniques or Sigma quality, but you really do get a bang for your buck with this set. White Barn 3-Wick Candle in Lilac Blossom and Honeysuckle Bouquet : I am so ready for spring, especially with the winter we've been having in Toronto.
