I love a white bedroom, whether it is completely white or has some added pops of colour. I find them so relaxing and serene - everything that a bedroom should be. Today I wanted to share with you a blush that I picked up over the weekend from Shoppers Drug Mart. If you're not familiar with Essence , it is a super affordable makeup brand that has excellent pigmentation and lasting power. This blush is part of the Kalinka Beauty Collection. It comes in one shade only, East Side Story, which is a gorgeous and highly pigmented coral colour. According to Essence's website , this collection was only available during March 2014. However, the Shoppers location that I visited (which is a very busy location in a busy Toronto neighbourhood) had a full display case. Hopefully you can find this product! Currently Coveting: Bar Carts

Bar carts are my latest home decor obsession. It seems like they are everywhere lately, and I am seriously considering adding one to my own home. They can be super affordable ( try this one from Ikea ) or fancy ( like this one from West Elm ). Apart from the basics like liquor, glasses and a cocktail shaker, you can add all kinds of fun objects to your bar cart such as fresh flowers, candles, framed prints, books, knick knacks, really anything you can think of! Today I'm sharing some bar cart styling inspiration with you. Many of the bar carts I have featured use the Raskog Kitchen Cart from Ikea . I think a trip to Ikea is in store! Have you ever thought about what's in the products you use everyday? I certainly didn't, until about a year ago. If you've read any of the posts in my natural beauty series , you know that I've been trying to make my skin care routine more natural and environmentally friendly. Everything from skin care to shampoo to hand soap to dish soap to laundry detergent is made with chemicals that have been linked to both disrupting the endocrine system and causing cancer. The EU has banned or regulated over 1,300 ingredients used in personal care products. Here in North America, we are much more lenient.
