Looks of the Week!

A number of pre-Oscar events happened this week, as well as Paris Fashion Week, the last of the "Big 4" fashion weeks. Once again, I had a tough time picking the top looks. 

1. Tika Sumpter


The Gossip Girl actress wore a fun print dress and blue strappy sandals to the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon. (Source)

2. Diane Kruger


Diane looked stunning at the National Hispanic Media Coalition Impact Awards, blending the perfect balance of masculinity and femininity. She paired a soft sheer white dress with a belted black blazer. She kept her makeup simple with a soft bronze smoky eye, pink lips and a touch of pink blush. (Source)

3. Jessica Alba


Jessica Alba looked very ladylike in a lilac sweater and coat, a navy pencil skirt, and pink pumps at the Nina Ricci F/W 2014 show at Paris Fashion Week.

Bar carts are my latest home decor obsession. It seems like they are everywhere lately, and I am seriously considering adding one to my own home. They can be super affordable ( try this one from Ikea ) or fancy ( like this one from West Elm ). April Favourites!

I can't believe it's that time again! To be honest, this list was especially difficult to compile this month. I spent April finishing up a very intensive 8 month + internship postgrad program. Between the exams, reports, projects, presentations, late nights and early mornings, I had very little time to myself to discover new products, so this list mostly includes old favourites that I found myself reaching for this month. 1. Cadbury Mini Eggs :  Mini Eggs are my favourite Easter candy and I don't even want to think of how many I consumed this month (stress eating!). At least I was balancing all that chocolate out with vegan bowls . 2. Live Clean Fresh Face Foaming Daily Cleanser : I picked up this cleanser in my never ending quest to find the best skin care products. I'm glad I did as I really love it. February Favourites!

I can't believe it's the end of the month already! Here are the products I've been loving during February. 1. Ecotools Essential Eye Set : I'm a big fan of Ecotools cruelty-free and natural makeup brushes. I recently needed some new eye brushes so I picked up this set. Don't expect Mac, Real Techniques or Sigma quality, but you really do get a bang for your buck with this set. I've been very happy with how these brushes perform.  $15 at Rexall and Lawtons drug stores 2. White Barn 3-Wick Candle in Lilac Blossom and Honeysuckle Bouquet : I am so ready for spring, especially with the winter we've been having in Toronto.
